Each academic year, members of all student societies convene to elect a
President, who will serve as the leader of the society for the upcoming term. This election process is an essential mechanism to ensure that every student has the opportunity to take on a leadership role and actively contribute to the development and direction of their society.
The elected President will be entrusted with the responsibility of
organizing activities and events, fostering a strong sense of community, and representing the society within the wider student body. In line with the
Social and Cultural Activities Directorate's new vision,
Living Together – Harmony, the President will also be expected to promote inclusivity, collaboration, and mutual respect among members, thereby strengthening both the society and the university community as a whole.
Furthermore, those elected will be enrolled in the
Leadership Academia, where they will undergo a
two-month training program designed to enhance their leadership, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
Through active participation in this democratic process, members help choose a leader who reflects their shared values and aspirations for the year ahead.
Students interested in applying are kindly requested to review the
Election Guidelines for detailed information regarding eligibility, application procedures, and responsibilities.
