Board of Directors Candidates Application Process

Candidate applications will be submitted in person to the Students Development,Events and Sports Affairs Directorate.

September 29-30, 2026

Student Clubs Executive Board Elections

The elections will be held online through the Student Portal.

WHO IS ELIGIBLE TO VOTE?

Students who joined the relevant club before 1 March 2026 and have renewed their club membership through the Student Portal are eligible to vote.

1 October 2026

Submission of Executive Board Lists to the Unit

Following the elections, clubs must hold their General Assemblies.

During the General Assembly, positions must be assigned among the five students who received the highest number of votes.

The Club Executive Board consists of:

• President
• Vice President
• Secretary
• Press/Public Relations Officer
• Activities Officer

The students who rank 6th and 7th in the election results will be designated as Alternate Members.

Clubs that have fulfilled all requirements must submit their elected Executive Board lists to the Unit.

3–4 October 2026

Submission of Student Clubs’ Annual Plans to the Unit

Information regarding the presentation will be announced later via WhatsApp.

APPLICATION CRITERIA FOR EXECUTIVE BOARD MEMBERSHIP

Applicants must:

• Have joined the relevant club through the Student Portal by 1 March 2026.
• Have no outstanding debts related to any items or equipment entrusted to them.
• Have no record of disciplinary action imposed by the University.
• Not be serving as a Provisional Executive Board Member or be a prospective Executive Board candidate for another club at the time of application.
• Have a minimum Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) of 2.00.
