Within the collaborations of Eastern Mediterranean University (EMU) and Medi Fundation Student Society, a seminar titled “” was held for the newly registered students of the university. The event took place on Tuesday, 25 February 2025 between 04.30 p.m. and 07.30 p.m. at the Mustafa Afşin Ersoy Hall where the Chair of Medi Foundation Student Society Dr. Canan Salih, Lawyer Nevin Ersoy and Lawyer Melek Mestan delivered presentations.
The seminar, organized to assist new EMU students in adapting to the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC) and inform them about the country’s basic laws, was held in both Turkish and English, aimed to enhance students’ understanding of the cultural and legal environment in Northern Cyprus. Moreover, information about the Medi Foundation Student Society was shared. Key details about student rights were presented to help ease their integration into the community.
