What we do?
The Social and Cultural Activities Directorate organizes various activities to meet and reinforce students’ social and cultural needs throughout the year. These activities do not only address university students but also the local people by serving as a communication bridge between the public and the University.
All students can benefit from the services of the Social and Cultural Activities Directorate. Depending on the type of the activity, the Directorate can also serve the local people and other institutions, if needed.
Social & cultural activities for personal development
The importance of social and cultural activities in preparing students for real life and strengthening their personal skills cannot be questioned. Social/cultural activities not only help students to identify themselves with the university, but also assist students to develop themselves in a desired field and also improve skills such as organizational, presentation, leadership and interpersonal communication.
Therefore, student clubs within our university are of great significance since they are the main conductors of extra-curricular activities. The social life within the university is gradually prospering with the increase in student clubs and the involvement of students within these clubs.
How to be part of it all
The student clubs are open to the participation of all students. Students can become members of any club that they desire and can take participative roles within the activities of these clubs. Moreover, their involvement will in turn further their skills and talents within the areas of their interest. Club members also benefit from the facilities provided to them on behalf of the Social and Cultural Activities Directorate, i.e. music studio, conference hall, practice/training venues, meeting rooms, etc.
